Who Can Participate?

The Dripping Springs Pop Warner program welcomes young athletes ages 5 to 12. Player divisions are determined by age as of the official cut-off date of July 14, 2026 — meaning a player's age on that date will determine which division they compete in. Pop Warner's nationally recognized age and weight matrix ensures that every child competes safely alongside peers of similar size and development, making it one of the most safety-conscious youth sports programs in the country.

Dripping Springs Pop Warner is a proud member of Pop Warner Little Scholars, the nation's largest and most established youth football and cheer organization, serving more than 325,000 young people across the country. Founded in 1929, Pop Warner is the only youth sports program that requires participants to maintain strict academic standards as a condition of active participation — a distinction that sets it apart from every other youth sports organization locally and nationally.
