🏈Registration & Equipment
March 15 – Fall 2026 Tackle Football Registration Opens
April 4 - Helmet Drop-Off for Reconditioning (9:00–11:00 AM ONLY)
- Location: 155 Grafton Ln., Austin, TX 78737
- Cost: $80 (cash or check payable to DSYSA)
- Helmets will not be accepted after this date. Please label helmet with player’s name and phone number
April 17 - Equipment Fitting Session (6:30–8:00 PM) (TBC)
- Location: Sycamore Middle School Football Field
- A representative from Riddell will be available for equipment purchases
May 8 – Registration Closes (Space permitting)
May 14 and 28 –Uniform Fitting (details to be announced; parents may choose one of the two dates)
May 21 – Parent Information Meeting (details to be announced)
🏈Pre-Season & Practices
July 15, 16, 20, 22, and 23 – Non-mandatory practices, 6:00–7:30 PM (Location TBC)
July 27, 28, 29, 30 – Mandatory Conditioning Begins 6:00–8:30 PM (Location TBC)
- Players must complete 10 hours of conditioning
- Up to 10 hours/week
- Practice schedules set by Head Coaches
August 3, 4, 5, 6 – Regular season. 6:00–8:30 PM (Location TBC)
August 10 – Regular season. Practices will be held three days per week, 6:00–8:00 PM, for the remainder of the season. (Location TBC)
August 16, 2026 – Certification Day (Mandatory for all players). Includes official weigh-in and team certification (TBC)
🏈Game Schedule
August 29, 2026 – Jamboree @ Glenn High School
September 5, 2026 – First Game Day
🏈 Season Details:
- Approximately 9-week season
- Games typically held on Saturdays (including Labor Day weekend)
- Number of games depends on team participation
The Fall 2026 season promises to be an exciting and rewarding experience for our players and families. From the first practice to the final game, athletes will grow in skill, confidence, and teamwork while creating lasting memories on and off the field.
